The Brevard County Canvassing Board may convene at other times, or cancel meetings, as deemed necessary by the Board.

The Supervisor of Elections Office will be processing Mail Ballots and scanning them into the tabulation & audit systems, as well as duplication, on the dates listed below. Please note: All scanning of Mail Ballots in the tabulation & audit systems is done in advance of conducting the post-election audit.

  • March 5th at 9:00 a.m. – Mail Ballot processing
  • March 7th at 9:00 a.m. – Mail Ballot processing
  • March 8th at 9:00 a.m. – Mail Ballot duplication (if necessary) - cancelled
  • March 14th at 9:00 a.m. – Mail Ballot processing and scanning
  • March 15th at 9:00 a.m. – Mail Ballot scanning and duplication (if necessary)
  • March 18th at 9:00 a.m. – Mail Ballot processing (cancelled), scanning, and duplication (if necessary)
  • March 19th at 1:00 p.m. – Mail Ballot processing, scanning, and duplication (if necessary)

Scanning of early voted ballots into the audit system will take place at 9:00 a.m. on March 10th – March 16th and March 18th

Scanning of election day voted ballots into the audit system will take place at 9:00 a.m. on March 20th – March 21st and March 22nd (if necessary)

All Canvassing Board Meetings will be held at the Election Support Center, 525 N. John Rodes Blvd., Melbourne, FL 32934. Meetings are open to the public, political parties, candidates, and press. NOTE: Persons are advised that if they wish to appeal any decision made at these meetings, they will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, per Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes.

This notice, which is pursuant to Florida Statutes 101.5612(2), 101.68(2)(a), 101.5614, 101.5614(4)(a), 101.048, 102.141, 101.591, 286.0105, and 286.26, has been posted on the front door of all Election Offices and on the www.VoteBrevard.gov website listed under Election Public Notices in the News and Notices tab.
