The Brevard County Elections’ web site has a new look and a new web address: www.VoteBrevard.com. The new web site will provide Brevard’s citizens with real time voter statistics; their current voter registration status; the ability to track their mail/absentee ballot; their precinct information and a map to their polling location.

“I am very proud to unveil our new interactive web site. It is exciting to bring these new on-line functions and increased accessibility to the citizens of Brevard,” said Supervisor Lori Scott.

Another function of the new web site is the on-line posting of all future county and judicial candidate campaign finance reports. “Transparency in our elections process protects us all,” said Supervisor Scott. “Citizens will now be able to retrieve county and judicial candidate information, including contributions and expenditures, through our web site from the comfort of their own homes.” To obtain this information previously, citizens had to make a public records request through the Elections Office and pay a per page copying fee.

The new web site header also has scrolling photos that highlight some of Brevard’s unique areas. A kid’s corner titled “Space Coast Kids” will be added to the new web site in the near future.
