Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott announced that Sample Ballots for the Republican Presidential Preference Primary and the Cape Canaveral Special Election to be held on January 31, 2012 are now available online at www.VoteBrevard.com. Sample Ballots will also be published in the newspaper and sent to all eligible voters who have not already requested a mail/absentee ballot.

Florida is a “closed primary” state. During a Primary Election, voters will receive a ballot listing the candidates corresponding to the political party affiliation they have selected on their Voter Registration Application. The Cape Canaveral Special Election is a nonpartisan election and as such, all voters who reside in the city limits of Cape Canaveral are eligible to vote in this election, no matter their party affiliation. View the Sample Ballot online from the homepage at www.VoteBrevard.com. For more information please contact the Supervisor of Elections office at (321) 633-2124.
