Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott announces the 1st Annual 2014 Launch the Vote Student Art Contest for Brevard County 4th and 5th grade students.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winning art entries will be displayed at each Brevard Chick-fil-A location during the month of October, prior to the November General Election. "I am excited to showcase Brevard’s talented students and increase awareness about the importance of voting," said Supervisor Scott. This contest provides an exciting opportunity for Brevard’s future voters to participate in the election process while increasing voter awareness for the General Election.

The contest requires students to design a patriotic image that encourages voter participation and highlights the importance of voting. Each student may submit one entry by Friday, September 12, 2014 on an 8 ½" x 11" sheet of white paper or poster board. Contest entries must be accompanied by a completed 2014 Launch the Vote Student Art Contest entry form available at www.VoteBrevard.com. Winning entries will be announced in September.
