Supervisor of Elections Sends Over 2,700 Mail Ballots for the 2014 General Election

Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott mailed 1,924 Mail (Absentee) Ballots to military and overseas voters today for the General Election to be held on November 4, 2014.

Military and civilian voters, who are currently overseas, also have the option to receive their Mail Ballot via e-mail or fax. Supervisor Scott emailed an additional 804 Mail Ballots today to those military and civilian voters.

To date, an additional 88,555 voters have requested a Mail Ballot for the upcoming General Election. Mail Ballots for stateside voters will be mailed on October 7, 2014. "Our Mail Ballot requests continue to grow each day in preparation for the General Election," said Supervisor Scott. "I encourage voters to track the status of their Mail Ballot through the election process on my website at www.votebrevard.com/Ballots-by-Mail/Check-My-Mail-Ballot-Status.aspx".

Voters can request a Mail Ballot online at www.VoteBrevard.com or by phone at (321)633-2127. Voters wishing to receive their Ballot by mail, must place their request by 5:00 p.m. on October 29, 2014. Voters may return their Mail Ballot via U.S. Mail or in person at any Elections Office location. Voted Mail Ballots for the 2014 General Election must be returned to the Supervisor of Elections by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day (November 4, 2014).
