Lori Scott, Supervisor of Elections announces this year’s Bake Sale and Raffle is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12th from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the Titusville, Melbourne, Viera and Palm Bay Supervisor of Elections offices.

Supervisor Scott believes that no child should go to bed hungry. This conviction led the Supervisor to organize the first Vote to End Childhood Hunger Bake Sale in 2009. "The Bake Sale is a great opportunity to the issue of childhood hunger in our own community. Summer is an especially difficult time for children who rely on receiving breakfast and lunch through programs available at their school," said Supervisor Scott.

Now in its sixth year, the annual Vote to End Childhood Hunger Bake Sale and Raffle is a fundraiser in support of Project Hunger. All proceeds will be donated to provide food for hungry and undernourished children in Brevard County.

Supervisor Scott invites local businesses to participate by contributing: gift certificates, raffle basket items, baked goods, cash donations, paper products or baking supplies.
