Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott is pleased to announce Brevard’s 123 polling locations are open and ready to serve county voters. All polling locations are open from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. today.

71,558 voters have already voted in the 2016 Presidential Preference Primary Election, with 46,294 Vote-by-Mail Ballots returned and 25,264 Early Voter Ballots cast.

Before heading to the polls, voters are encouraged to visit the www.VoteBrevard.com website for election information. “The website is a great Election Day resource,” said Supervisor Scott. “From your computer or smartphone, voters can verify their registration status. They can also view the status of their mail ballot, see real-time voter turnout, obtain a sample ballot as well as find their precinct information, and directions to their polling location.”

“Florida is a closed primary state, so voters should remember that only registered Republican and Democrat voters are eligible to vote in this election,” added Supervisor Scott.
