Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott announces that 99,794 Domestic Mail Ballots were sent out today for the November 8th Presidential General Election. Prior to today’s mailing, 3,014 Mail Ballots were sent to Brevard’s Military and Overseas voters on September 23rd.

“Mail Ballot requests continue to increase,” said Supervisor Scott. “Over 40% of all ballots cast by Brevard voters in the August 30th Primary Election were Mail
Ballots.”

Voters wishing to have a Mail Ballot sent to them must place their request by 5:00 p.m. on November 2, 2016. Mail Ballots must be returned to the Supervisor of Elections Office no later than 7:00 pm on November 8, 2016. There is a 10-day extended timeline for Overseas voters to return a Mail Ballot in a Federal Election, but the envelope must be postmarked no later than Election Day.

Voters can track the status of their Mail Ballot through the Supervisor of Elections website at VoteBrevard.com.
