Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott announces this year’s VOTE to End Childhood Hunger Bake Sale and Raffle is scheduled for Tuesday, May 23 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the Titusville, Melbourne, Viera and Palm Bay Election offices. Funds raised through the bake sale and raffle will benefit Project Hunger’s Feed and Read program, a Brevard nonprofit organization that aids undernourished children in the county year round. Since 2009, the VOTE to End Childhood Hunger Bake Sale and Raffle has raised over $17,000 for this incredible initiative.

This year’s bake sale will include 13 raffle baskets with an average value of $875 per basket. The gift basket themes are: At Sea, Family Fun, Father’s Day, Making Memories, On the Town, Pamper Me, Precious Cargo, Staycation, Outdoor Adventure, Taste of Brevard, Wag & Purr, and Weekend Getaway. There will also be a 50/50 Raffle. Tickets for the raffle baskets are now on sale at all four Election office locations and are selling for $1 each or 6 for $5. The drawing for the basket winners will be Friday, May 26th. A complete list of raffle basket photos and descriptions can be found on VoteBrevard.com.
