February 24, 2020 9:00 a.m. Permission to begin Canvassing Mail Ballots
March 17, 2020
7:00 p.m. Canvass Election Day Returns & Review of Mail Ballots
March 19, 2020 5:00 p.m. Review Provisional & Mail Ballots; Certify 1st Unofficial Results
March 27, 2020 5:00 p.m. Review 10-day count Overseas Mail Ballots, Certify Official Results, Complete Conduct of Elections and Select the Race & Precincts for the Post-Election Audit
March 31, 2020 9:00 a.m. Conduct the Post-Election Audit

 

PLEASE NOTE: The Supervisor of Elections Office will be processing Mail Ballots on the following dates beginning at 9:00 a.m.:
February 25, 27, 28 and March 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 13, 16 & 17.

*All Canvassing Board Meetings will be held at the Viera Elections Office, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Building C, Viera, Florida 32940, with the exception of the 9:00 a.m. February 21st meeting. Meetings are open to the press, public, political parties and candidates.

The Brevard County Canvassing Board is comprised of County Court Judge Kenneth Friedland, County Commissioner Curt Smith, and Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott.

NOTE: Persons are advised that if they wish to appeal any decision made at these meetings, they will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, per Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes.

This notice, which is pursuant to Florida Statutes 101.5612(2), 101.68(2)(a), 101.5614, 101.5614(4)(a), 101.048, 102.141, 101.591, 286.0105, and 286.26, has been posted on the front door of all Election Offices, on the www.VoteBrevard.com website and published in the Florida Today Newspaper.
