Voter Outreach and Education

The Supervisor of Elections office is committed to providing community outreach and voter education for the citizens of Brevard County. Below is a list of the Supervisor of Election’s voter services and outreach programs.

Speaking Engagements

Supervisor of Elections, Lori Scott, and members of the Elections office staff are available to speak to your organization regarding the election process and the importance of voting. Topics may vary and can be customized to meet the needs of your event.

Voter Drives

Supervisor of Elections, Lori Scott is committed to providing superior customer service for the Brevard County voters. As part of this mission, the Supervisor of Elections office partners with local organizations year-round to host voter drives throughout the community. At a voter drive, Brevard County citizens can request a Mail Ballot, verify their voter registration status, update their registration record (name, address, signature and party affiliation), and request a new voter information card.

Election Assistance

The Supervisor of Elections office is pleased to assist with your next election. Organizations and school groups that conduct elections can utilize the Supervisor of Elections office’s voting equipment to tabulate election results. This unique opportunity replaces hand counting individual ballots and gives participants an authentic Election Day experience.

On the day of your group’s election, members of the Elections office staff assist participants with the voting process on the Election’s office’s touchscreen voting equipment. Voters will also receive an “I Voted” sticker for their participation. At the close of the Election, the equipment will tabulate the votes and print a receipt, which is certified with the official results.

Community Service and Scholarship Hours Opportunities

Find out how you can be part of the election process by serving as a volunteer. This could be a great opportunity to earn scholarship hours.

Tour the Elections Office

The Supervisor of Elections office also offers guided tours of the Viera Elections office. This is an exciting opportunity for your group to view the election equipment and learn about the election process.
